This is for a functional insurance domain hire for QA Candidate who possess a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Sciences and have written and passed at least 1 or 2 papers . Worked on an any actuarial system Good to have an understanding on Accounting engine , General Ledger ( SAP) Good to have knowledge on IFRS 17, IFRS 9 or IFRS 4 The candidate is expected to be a subject matter expert in the insurance domain  and enable to bring in Key business perspective and vision and contribution to the application under test . Excellent understanding of Insurance domain (Life or Non-Life)  . Competent in testing Insurance applications . Holds experience in translating the requirements to key functional use cases with strong test data preparation Knowledge of principles and standards and process of insurance contracts Skills required on any relational database like Oracle, SQL  - this would be an added advantage Work well both independently and as part of a team - Strong business and collaboration skills - Effective time management skill - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Strong analytical and problem solving skills Excellent understanding of Insurance domain (Life or Non-Life)  . Competent in testing Insurance applications . 1. Design, install and evaluate quality control methods and systems. 2. Develops and executes software test plans. 3. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results.  4. Analyzes test results and recommends corrective actions. 5. Translating the requirements to key functional use cases with strong test data preparation


Detailed Description and Job Requirements :

Responsible for developing, applying and maintaining quality standards for company products with adherence to both internal and external standards. Develops and executes software test plans. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results. Analyzes test results and recommends corrective actions. As a member of the technical/process QA division, you will design, install and evaluate quality control methods and systems. Design continuing maintenance of product quality. Develop standards and procedures to provide quality guidance and methods. Duties and tasks are standard with some variation; displays understanding of roles, processes and procedures. Performs moderately complex problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. A of 1 year of software engineering or related experience.
