Oracle DBA Job in Bangalore at Mindtree

Role description

• Oracle installation, Creation of Oracle 12c/11g databases.

• Upgradation of databases across versions. 

• Setup Listener & Tns configuration.

• Exposure in cloud enviornmnet is mandatory

• Migration of Database using Export/Import, expdp/impdp DataPump

• Regular Maintenance:

• Clearing files & freeing space on Server.

• Adding datafiles to tablespaces, resizing datafiles.

• Alert log monitoring for alerts.

• Good Knowledge in RMAN Backup and Restore 

• DR/Data guard setup & monitoring. 

• Knowledge on Golden gate configuration & Minitoring

• Creation of users, profiles, assigning roles & revoking 

• Backup Scheduling & verification

• Detecting & removing locks in the database & identifying long running sql's 

• Co-ordinate with Oracle Support for issues.

• Working Knowledge in Oracle RAC

• Working Knowledge in Oracle Statspack and AWR Reports

• Experience in applying in Quarterly Patches

• Excellent communication and documentation skills

• Familiar with ITIL framework
