FP&A Analyst Job in Bangalore at Momentive

Position Summary :

This role is responsible for providing financial analysis and financial reporting for the Performance Additives Finance Team. This individual participates in financial planning functions for the Sector including the annual budgeting process coordination, quarterly/monthly forecasting, and ad hoc estimating. They will work closely with the Sector Finance Leader and provide financial analysis, input and oversight of the revenue, costs, expenses, and working Capital of the Sector and its Business Units. In addition, there is a close working relationship and support to the Commercial and Operations Finance Leaders and with the Corporate FP&A Team.

Tasks and responsibilities of the position:

  • Provides efficient and accurate reporting and analysis for all functions of the Performance Additives Business

  • Ensure compliance with US GAAP accounting standards and internal Momentive financial policies

  • Business partner to deliver on the Growth, Working Capital, and Profitability metrics of the Sector and Business Units

  • Support monthly business closing and review for the Sector

  • Drive self & team towards standardized global financial processes within the Sector and Corporate FP&A Team to ensure company wide consistency

  • Analyze monthly performance v budget, v prior year and support monthly forecast for both commercial and operations functions

  • Assisting Sector Finance Leader as well as the commercial and operations finance leads in financial reporting and communication of business results

  • Assist Sector Finance Leaders around financially driven business presentations including monthly results reviews, divisional reviews, budget reviews and other ad hoc business presentations

Basic Qualifications :

  • 3-4 years finance experience in an industrial / finance setting

  • Fluency in English required

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience using the following systems: SAP/Business Warehouse, General ERP systems

  • Excellent communication skills – demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams in a global environment

  • Service mentality, Proactive & problem-solving skills

  • Transformational spirit, creative personality

  • Demonstrated ability to meet work and project deadlines producing high quality output

  • Excellent prioritization and organizational skills to manage multiple deliverables

  • Strong PC and systems familiarity; excellent MS Office Suite skills

  • Experience working with Global teams

  • Advanced MS Excel and MS PowerPoint knowledge
