The opportunity

We’re looking for Supervising Associates with expertise resource management, bench management, utilization and reporting, conflict management skills to join our CEF Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a leading firm whilst being instrumental in the growth of a new service offering.

Your key responsibilities

  • Assigns appropriateclient service personnel to engagements by assessing information presented,reviewing options available and presenting recommendations based on Sub-Areapolicies and client/personnel requirements (experiential development, clientassignments, complexity of engagement, continuity, expertise required, etc.

  • Challengeshours and personnel scheduled as appropriate to ensure efficient utilization ofresources.

  • Promotesand monitors the sharing of resources based on the Sub-Area's strategy;networks with other team members across Sub-Areas and service lines to addressresource needs and/or conflicts.

  • Buildsrelationships and communicates continuously with client service personnel tounderstand their professional development goals and objectives. Keeps Inmind experiential development goals and objectives.

  • Assistsin the reassignment of projects due to personnel leaving/joining the firm, orto client delay/acceleration.

  • Fillsopen needs as identified; proactively investigates projects that may be able tobe reassigned to individuals to meet requirements of the open needs.

  • Raisesperformance issues heard to appropriate resource management leadership toensure the appropriate approach is taken with regards to scheduling.

  • Participatesin orientation providing details to new hires on the resource management process.

  • Providesinput for performance management process.

  • Participatesin sub-Sub-Area and/or national conference calls, as deemed needed.

  • Assistswith various ad hoc projects as needed.

  • Appropriatelyprioritize staffing decisions based on client assignments, experientialdevelopment, inclusivity, engagement risk, specialization requirements, timingconstraints, staffing continuity and geographic considerations.

  • Identifies over andunderutilized personnel, and proactively identifies recommendations to bringutilization in line with peers and/or sub-Sub-Area targets

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Graduate/Post Graduate

  • 6 - 10years of relevant work experience is preferred

  • Providesupport to Consulting client facing teams & onshore finance/engagementteams by providing timely reports & insights.

  • Assistanalysis on budget v/s actuals, forecast productivity & utilization.

  • Ensureproper and efficient team communications.

  • Preparesreports & Perform quality review of reports generated.

  • Ensurethat process documentation is done and archived.

  • Supportefforts maintain stakeholder relationships.

  • Reportingand preparing Dashboards for client facing teams and stake holders in othergeographies, including senior leadership at GDS.

  • One-timetasks, ad hoc reporting, etc.

  • Knowledge onforecasting, planning and budgeting
