Business Analyst Job in Multiple Locations at Arcadis

Responsibilities :


  • Preparation and review of business, functional and non-functional requirements and specifications for the projects involved

  • To understand the business needs/requirements and to provide inputs to the developers’ basis the requirement received.

  • To connect with the business units to understand specifics and to disseminate to the teams the workflow on the as is process and the proposed requirement.

  • Collaborate and co-ordinate with the developers and the business units.

  • Work with stream leads and project managers to develop requirements and perform requirement analysis

  • Prepare and review traceability matrix and ensure Functional Specification Document is in line with the approved BRD

  • Ensure the benefits are detailed out and documented by the teams in the BRD

  • Staying up to date on the latest process and systems/tools to automate and modernize systems.

  • Identify the testing effort required by calculating the sizing needed for the given release and plan the required effort for the same.

  • Support the test leads in preparing and coordinating testing activities with a focus on UAT

  • Ensure that the UAT plan is reviewed and signed off obtained before commencement of UAT

  • Review Defect Management Tool for all functional testing issues and ensure closure of all Open issues.

  • Prepare/Review Training Material/User Guide for providing product training and follow-up for completion of training to the relevant end users prior to UAT and go-live

  • Document Lessons Learnt from the Projects for learning and sharing within the team.

  • Provide metrics to the Management on the progress of the Project

  • Make recommendations (and/or implement) to the project manager on possible risk management responses to identified risks and ensure that actions are taken quickly to remediate the risk identified.

  • Proactively interact with business to identify areas for process improvement/automation and collate the requirements from business and ensure requirements are documented clearly in the form of Business Requirement Documents (BRD).

  • Impact to upstream/downstream systems/processes should be analysed and pro-active actions to be taken as deemed necessary.

  • Knowledge on all other deliverables handled by the team.

  • Proactive engagement with stakeholders from support perspective
