This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience

  • A strong understanding of at least one business function in the firm, as well as a broader understanding of other areas.

  • Proficiency in business applications, data usage, and management

  • Ability to liaison between lines of business and the development team, while working with a wide range of stakeholders and collaborating with your team

  • Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals

  • Well-rounded experience on Investment banking (with focus on cash accounting & derivatives)

  • Should be able to own and drive projects independently.

  • Well versed in Documentation and Visio design.

  • Develop agenda’s and presentation decks for status meetings.

  • Communicate to management and other key stakeholders.

  • Can provide feedback on project status, offering constructive options to ensure project tracks to original expectations.

  • Direct activities, take ownership, monitor details and guide the team.

  • Review root cause analysis and implement best practices.

  • Should have well rounded experience in designing and coming up with solutions.

  • Participating in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases for defect fixes, enhancements, and other strategic initiatives.

  • Can operate effectively in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines, and can prioritize one's own work to achieve them

  • Resolving phone and e-mails inquiries regarding data quality issues, application usage, and other miscellaneous items.

  • Ensuring the accurate and timely escalation and resolution of all inquiries.

  • Proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Self-starter and strong motivator

  • Ability to identify hot spots and quickly assess the impact and provide tactical and strategic controls

  • Knowledge of SQL is desired and any other technical knowledge will be added advantage.
