About the Role :
Reporting to the Head L&H Pricing Services Asia, the candidate will be responsible for experience analysis for South East Asia and India (SEAI) market within L&H pricing services Asia team.
Key work areas are :
Analysing portfolio reinsured by the company for different regions mainly SEAI
Providing insights from experience emerging from the Life and Health reinsurance treaties to Pricing and Valuation teams
Comparing Actual versus Expected experience for different lines of business mainly mortality, critical illness, hospital cash and disability income (inception and termination)
Major responsibilities :
Perform experience studies for SEAI region
Work with data and system teams to validate data for various treaties from experience studies point of view
Providing technical reviewer support to SEAI Experience Studies
Prepare/Review ES word reports for treaties for which studies have been done
Findings insights from A/E results and share with regional pricing/valuation teams
Come up with ideas for automating and improving current processes
Regular interaction with various regional Pricing and Valuation teams and sharing insights from Experience Studies results
About You:
Bachelors/master's degree in mathematics/Statistics
Making good progress towards recognised actuarial qualification (at least 5 CT series passed)
Good understanding of Life & Health Insurance/Reinsurance domain
Actuarial experience of 1-2 years would be an added advantage
Admirable analytical and data handling skills would be preference.
Experienced user of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access) and SAS/VBA
Excellent oral and written English skills
